'Inkheart' is a fictional book by Cornelia Funke. It is about Mo, a father of a 11-year-old girl called Meggie and a book repairer and collector, the husband of a wife that got sucked into the book by Mo’s magical talent.

Mo can read stories out of the book, but something gets taken in whenever he reads something aloud, so he never reads a book aloud again. One day his horrors of the past returned to him as Basta and Capricorn came to him and demanded that he gave him the last copy of “Inkheart”. Mo does not have the book so Capricorn threatens to kill him. His friend Dustfinger warns him that they will attack him, so they run away. What will happen next........

I really enjoyed the book because it is very detailed and long. It helped me to imagine the world of the book which was very fascinating. I loved the characters as they were also very detailed and all of them had backstories. This helped me to identify with the characters. I would rate this book 10/10.
